Because we care . . . we can use your help in many ways. To direct the greatest majority of funds raised to improve the quality of life for children with cancer, any support will be greatly appreciated for the following items:

Children who suffer from cancer have the same dreams, the same wants and the same wishes as healthy children. Our children live in a world of todays and tomorrows because it's what they understand the best. And, because that's all they expect to plan for, next week is too ambitious.

Our funding is secured through grants, contributions, fund-raisers, gifts, memorials and donations both from the private and corporate sectors. The foundation does not receive any funding from federal or state agencies, so please make a donation today- Click Here

Bear Necessities Matching Gifts Program
A Matching Gift is an easy way for you to double or even triple the value of your contribution to Bear Necessities! When you make a donation, if your company has a matching gifts program, they will not only “match” your contribution but in many cases they will donate three times at much! Some companies also match retirees and spouse gifts, so please inquire with your Human Resources on the options. The matching gifts process is very easy:

Beary Special Needs May, 2008

	• Bear Necessities hosts 16 different hospital meals through-out the year. Usually there are 35-45 people in attendance. If you know of a estaurant/individual that might consider sponsoring one of the meals, please contact Caroline at 312.836.2327 x25 or cshields@bearnecessities.org
