September is national Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.
September 8, 2011 has be proclaimed Bear Necessities Pediatric Cancer Awareness Day by Mayor Emanuel and Governor Quinn.
Each year, 13,500 children (ages 0-19) are diagnosed with a form of pediatric cancer in the U.S. and approximately 400 of these children are from the Chicago land area.
There are many was that you can get involved this September to spread awareness on childhood cancer and we have listed some ideas for you!
