Download our volunteer form and fax or mail it to Courtney Krupa, Director of Community Outreach and you'll be contacted for your assistance.   Small Miracle Volunteers We are looking for Small Miracle volunteers to come into the office once a week to assist Caroline with the Small Miracle Program. If you are interested please contact her at cshields@bearnecessities.org or 312.836.2327 x25.   Get Involved! Get your school, church, or organization involved with Bear Necessities. Through fundraising and volunteering, Bear Necessities can continue to help kids fight against cancer. There are several types of opportunities with Bear Necessities through organizations and whatever it may be everyone can help! Volunteers are Champions! Bear Necessities is always in need of your help. Only with the volunteers’ generous hard-work and dedication can Bear Necessities continue to provide hope and support to children with cancer.

Two volunteer programs are offered with Bear Necessities. Bear Champions is the general volunteer program offering opportunities from office work to events to joining a committee. If you become interested in furthering your involvement with Bear Necessities; the Small Miracle Program offers two areas of volunteering as a Miracle Maker. A Miracle Maker assists with coordinating a small miracle for a child and their family or a as an Event Chair hosting hospital lunches or dinners for patients at one of eight Chicago area hospitals. The Miracle Maker opportunities require some minimal training.
