Each year, medical research grants are awarded nationwide primarily to fellows and junior investigative researchers who make meaningful advancements and discoveries toward finding a cure and therapies for various types of pediatric cancer. Without the support of Bear Necessities, these cutting edge researchers stand little of chance of receiving funding, thus minimizing the chance for a break-through.
